Music by someone you’ve heard of
All this licence-free public domain and Creative Commons music is great but sometimes you want to play something a bit more “commercial”.
Fear not, here’s a list of better known bands, artists, tracks and albums which have been published with Creative Commons licences. Again, remember to check the small print!
Nine Inch Nails actively encourage you to remix their work http://remix.nin.com/ and many of their more recent albums have CC licences allowing non-commercial sharing so long as you give attribution.
